How does MICO track calories?

MICO uses AI food recognition to analyse photos of your meals and work out the calories instantly. You can also log food by voice or by text.

What are the 3 AI coaching styles?

MICO offers three AI coaches: Mia (supportive and encouraging), Marcus (strict and disciplined) and Kai (sarcastic and witty). You can switch between them at any time.

Privacy Policy

Vector Mesa LLC ("we", "us", or "our") operates the MICO mobile app and the mico.fit website. This policy explains what data MICO handles, why it does so, and who else is involved.

MICO works without an account. If you never sign in, the data listed in sections 1 and 2 stays on your device — apart from the processing described in section 3, which is what makes food recognition and coaching possible.

1. Data You Provide

Profile: name, gender, age, height, weight, activity level, dietary restrictions, your goal, and the coach you chose.
Targets: daily goals for calories, protein, fat, carbohydrates, and water.
Food diary: the meals you log, the messages you exchange with your coach, and daily totals.
Weight log: weight entries and any notes attached to them.
Progress photos: the photos you add to follow your changes.

2. Data From Your Device

Camera, photo library, and microphone: used only at the moment you log a meal by photo or by voice. MICO does not access them in the background.
Apple Health (optional): with your permission MICO reads burned calories, steps, and workouts in order to adjust your daily target. It is read only while you keep the integration switched on, and MICO does not write anything back to Apple Health.
Account identifier: if you use Sign in with Apple, we receive the identifier Apple issues for you. If you choose to hide your email address, we only ever see Apple's private relay address.

MICO contains no advertising SDKs and no third-party analytics.

3. Who Processes Your Data

AI model providers (Anthropic, OpenAI): meal photos, your messages, and the diary context needed to answer them are sent to the model provider so that the coach can recognise food and reply. Voice recordings are sent for transcription. Under the providers' API terms this content is not used to train their models.
Supabase (storage and sync): if you sign in, your profile, targets, diary, weight log, and progress photos are stored in our Supabase project so that they survive a reinstall and reach your other devices.

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising.

4. Storage and Retention

Without an account your data exists only on your device and disappears when you delete the app. With an account it is kept until you remove it. Deleting an entry in the app also removes it from our servers. To delete your account together with everything in it, use the app settings or write to us.

5. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask us to provide a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how it is processed, or withdraw your consent. Write to help@fitgpt.pro and we will respond within 30 days.

6. Health Data

Nutrition, weight, and Apple Health data say something about your health. MICO uses them only to run the features you asked for. They are never used for advertising and never passed to data brokers.

7. Children

MICO is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. The Website

mico.fit hosts the landing page and the blog. It sets no advertising or analytics cookies. If you join the waitlist, we store the email address you submit and use it only to tell you about the launch; you can ask us to remove it at any time.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in the app and on this page, and the effective date above will change.
